A QUALITY CONTROL POLICY ON INVESTIGATING OF BRONZE ART WORK COATING

This study has instigated by national bronze works as a result of a concern about the maintenance of quality in their art works. To discover any quality defects in the artwork coatings, and to determine what needs to be done to maintain quality control in the future. Information needed to be gathered on the nature of the quality defect problem. Discussing the possible causes of defects with national bronze personnel identified the type of information needed. The information was gathered from two sources. National bronze work's sales representatives in different geographical areas made field observations. The second source of information came from laboratory analysis of current art work coatings. The data was then analyzed to find any relationships between any of the identified potential problem factors and noticeable defects in the product. Laboratory analysis of coating compounds was made to determine if a better coating could be found. The purpose of this investigation is to ascertain the extent and nature of the coating problem on national bronze works products, to recommend any necessary improvements in quality and to make recommendation about the maintenance of quality control.
