P 2000 - a New Austenitic High Nitrogen Steel for Power Generating Equipment

To minimize the risk of retaining ring failures and to optimize generator availability we recommend to use for the differnt operating conditions nowadays usual all the time the right material for operating temperatures below 100℃ and strength levels up to 1300 Mpa the material P 900 is appropriate, for operating temperatures above 100℃ or strength levals over 1300 MPa the new high nitrogen austenitic steel P 2000 guarantees a reliable operation of generators under worst operating conditions and temperatures up to 130℃.
