摘要

Sensing human emotion by robot is an interesting yet challenging problem. In recent times, the development of vision and voice systems has enabled robot mechanisms to exhibit some human sensing capability. In light of this, there has been a growing interest for integrating non-invasive techniques to promote mental well being for patients with emotional distress. Inspired by this work, this paper proposes a framework for an emotion sensing system that augments non-invasive methods such as facial expression, speech, and infrared. The focus is primarily to achieve higher precision for dealing with emotion signals that are captured by emotional robots.
