摘要

Optimization of demineralizer performance and minimization of demineralized water cost can be achieved by understanding the factors that control ion exchange performance. This paper reviews practical operational practices that can increase overall system performance. It also discusses the viability of spending additional capital for roughing demineralization with reverse osmosis or conversion of co-flow demineralizers to counter-flow operation to reduce operating cost.
