We developed a high frequency transmission 10 Gbps (Gigabit per second) UTP cable by specially designed 'Spacer Technology'. The performance of this cable was evaluated by high frequency transmission system in 500~650MHz ranges. The internal and external performances of the cable were good enough to satisfy the drafted IEEE 802.3 specification. The Alien Crosstalk was measured in the 1+6 structure as recommended by IEEE specification, which is the worst circumstance. The measured value was over 7dB, which is believed to be the very superior performance. Consequently, the developed cable makes it feasible to maximize the performance of 500~650MHz grade 10 Gbps transmission system , which will be commercialized within a few years.
