The set of remote devices for prompt detection of depressurization locations in the International Space Station (ISS) modules was developed in the course of the Bar experiment preparation. The inter vehicular set of devises is designed for detecting the depressurization locations in a complex background environment of the station. It provides for solving the new problems of basic importance including: early detection and prevention of leaks from the ISS habitation modules due to biodegradation of structure elements; analysis of air ultrasonic oscillation levels in the station internal compartments in association with harmful effect on crews. The extra vehicular set of scientific equipment for detecting the locations of depressurization in the ISS modules is slated for employment with the SSRMS manipulator to ensure: prompt detecting the points of air medium local leaks in the ISS modules; monitoring the external impact on the modules by unknown factors and objects for predicting the off-nominal situations; monitoring the status of the ISS external surface elements. Implementation of capabilities to control the manipulator in the process of imaging by operators of the Spaceflight Control Center deems to be of special importance.
