摘要

Three dimensional woven composite applications are presented. Thisrntype of weaving has unique advantages, compared to conventionalrncomposites made by stacking plies. The key issues of 3D weaving will bernoutlined briefly, and a technological demonstrator developed at IAI isrnpresented. Demonstrator is a single part fastenerless control surface,rnmanufactured in a single process.
