This paper provides a discussion of the Acid Gas Enrichment Unit for the Keyspan Rimbey Gas Plant, located in Rimbey, Alberta, which is about 45 minutes southwest of Edmonton, Alberta. Discussed in this paper will be: 1. Why Acid Gas Enrichment was necessary; 2. Why FLEXSORB SE PLUS was chosen for the enrichment solvent; 3. The Acid Gas Enrichment process; and 4. Operating experiences.
