AISI SURVEY OF BLAST FURNACE PELLET PROPERTIES

摘要

This paper presents a survey of preferred chemical, physical and metallurgical properties of acid and fluxed pellets by North American blast furnace operators. The projected effects of changes in pellet properties on furnace coke rates are also presented along with recommendations for changes in key properties. A companion survey of North American pellet plants is also presented indicating current capabilities and future plans.
