AMR System Adopting Routing Algorithm of Wireless Sensor Networks

摘要

With the rapid growth of population and technology, the electric power consumption and number of utility consumers had increased quickly. In order to serve larger utilityconsumers, the Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) systems are widely used. In the wireless data acquisition systems such as ARM and Temperature-Humidity, the process of data transmission through wireless means, the routing algorithm is very important. Due to the difference between such data acquisition systems and traditional large scale Wireless Sensor Networks, we need to find out a proper routing algorithm to make the system work with the best efficiency, the least bit error rate, the shortest delay and the best stability. Therefore, we figure out a new algorithm for our system, which is named Ant Colony Routing Algorithm based on Neural Networking. The Algorithm is firstly simulated and then carried out in an embedded system. Due to the result of the simulation, the performance of the Algorithm is better than the existed Routing Algorithm.
