INFLUENCE OF THE FLEXIBILITY OF THE FASTENINGS ON THE BEHAVIOUR OF STONE WOOL CORED SANDWICH PANELS

摘要

The paper studies the response of three-layer sandwich panels exposed to temperature difference between the face layers. In the analysis the interaction between axial extensions and deflections and further, the influence of the flexibility of the fastenings and transverse curvature of the panel are studied. Comparisons are made with experimental results of sandwich panels with a stone wool core and thin flat steel sheet faces connected to the supporting structure with flexible invisible fastening system.
