摘要

Both EMTDC program and real time HYBRID SIMULATOR are used to analysis the P1 trip of Three gorges to Changzhou (3GC) HVDC link by converter transformer saturation protection at Zhengping after energization of Wunan 750MVA AC transformer in Jan, 16, 2003. Factors affect the amplitude and duration of the neutral current of the converter transformer include the saturation characteristic of Wunan transformer, unsynchronization of the three phases of the AC circuit breaker and DC transmission power etc. are considered.
