DYNAMICS AND STRUCTURAL CHANGE OF THE ECONOMY OF THE SHAANXI PROVINCE IN CHINA

摘要

The present study has aimed at an empirical survey of the economic development of the Shaanxi province using a framework for analysis which has been derived from systems theory. Together with conventional, descriptive analysis of the statistical material available for this important regional economy we were able to show the strong, but varying influence of investment growth on the evolving development of productivity. For the entire economy relations to new thoughts on main determinants of economy wide growth have been attempted and their theoretical implications were shown to be compatible with the actual historical development.
