MANAGEMENT CONTROL AND HARMONY CONTROL

摘要

By exploring the meaning and nature of management control, the limitation of research of management control from the angle of principal-agent theory and resorting to the harmony theory, we propose the concept of harmony control in this paper. The difference in harmony control and clan control is compared to help illustrate the concept. And it's argued that harmony control becomes increasingly important in the management of modern enterprises and the importance of corporation culture lies in its role as a tool of harmony control.
