摘要

The aim of this paper is to show the suitability of fieldbus solutions for the real world industrial applications. Networks allow communications between the elements of a system architecture and the growing need of sharing equipment, resources and information give importance to the field. The sensor level network is intended to support communications at the lowest level of automated manufacturing control hierarchy involving the interconnection of intelligent devices with their sensors and actuators. In the field of industrial networking, sensor level networks are also claled fieldbus networks. in this paper we perform a study considering two particular fieldbus networks: controler Area Network (CAN) and WorldFIP. We analyse their performance using CAN with those obtained using FIP. Finally, we perofrm a case study on data acquisition from sensors of a bottle filling line situated in an industrial plant in Libson.
