APPLICATION TO 3D PARABOLIC MODELS TO BENCHMARK PROBLEMS

We compare results of acoustic propagation modelling using two 3D parabolic equation (PE) models. Numerical simulations of sound propagation are presented for the 3D wedge benchmark problem. The solutions exhibit interesting horizontal refraction effects. The convergence of the solutions with respect to the azimuthal discretization is discussed.
