In order to estimate the arrival time structure, waveforms of acoustic propagation sounds have been calculated by Split Step Pade method. A computer simulation of an acoustic propagation was performed under the condition that the propagation path was 1000km in the Pacific Ocean near Japan. Experimental XCTD data measured at 15 points were used to calculate the waveform to be received. It is also shown about the comparison of calculated waveform and actual receiving waveform obtained by the ocean acoustic tomography system. Estimated arrival time structures were similar to the obtained receiving sounds except rays projected at about 15 degrees. It is shown that the SSP method is useful to calculate not only the propagation loss but also the waveform of propagation sound.
