摘要

This paper deals with the remote sensing of sediment instability. Experimental results obtained on a small-scale sediment model where air was injected are presented. The combination of both active and passive acoustical tools were used to correlate the changing of the acoustical properties of the sediment with internal events in the sediment such as bubble collapse, friction, landslip. This combination was used to describe the effects of the gas on the shear properties of water saturated sediments.
