The EUROSTAR 3000 AOCS has been designed and developed by MATRA MARCONI SPACE to match the needs of present and future geostationary telecommunication missions. It re-uses widely the EUROSTAR 2000+ flight proven concept and hardware and provides key improvements for better performance and reduced operational workload. Its versatility allows it to be compatible with a wide range of satellite sizes, starting from medium GEO to extra-large GEO. It has been developed to ensure high performance and reliability with a large degree of autonomy on station. The EUROSTAR 3000 AOCS will fly on the French technological satellite program, STENTOR in year 2000.
