The in-orbit test bed PRISMA, will demonstraternGuidance, Navigation, and Control strategies forrnautonomous formation flying and rendezvous. ThernSwedish Space Corporation (SSC) is the primerncontractor for the project which is funded by thernSwedish National Space Board (SNSB).rnThe space segment consists of two spacecraft: MAINrnand TARGET. The MAIN satellite has full orbit controlrncapability while TARGET is attitude controlled only.rnPRISMA will perform a series of GNC relatedrnformation flying and rendezvous experiments. SSC isrnthe overall responsible for the GNC system of the twornspacecraft and will perform three main sets ofrnexperiments: Autonomous Formation Flying, ProximityrnOperations and Final Approach/Recede Manoeuvres,rnand Autonomous Rendezvous.rnThis paper focuses on the Autonomous Rendezvousrn(ARV) experiment and describes the approach takenrnand the GNC functions used to implement the ARVrncapability.
