Waveguide 3D optical integrated circuits

Abstract: The waveguide conception of construction of optical integrate circuits to implement vector - matrix transform is discussed. The realization of such circuit is considered as multilayer structure whose basic components are the controlled waveguide diffraction beamsplitter and the waveguide diffraction beam integrator with buffer layer. Construction and fabrication technology of circuit components is presented. Optimal sizes of diffractive element of beamsplitter and integrator are defined. Possible applications are shown. !8
