摘要

A rheological model is presented for describing the time dependent behavior of excavated highslope of rock mass. An actual rheological character of excavated highslope of rock mass at Three Gorges, Hubei Province of China, was analyzed. In this analysis, rock mass referred to as solid body was modeled as a deformable continuum. The elasto-viscoelastic / viscoplastic model is used to simulate the time dependent behavior of rocks. This model is implemented in a finite element program, and the numerical results is compared with instantaneous response data of elasto-plastic analysis.
