摘要

Tire/road noise becomes the dominant part of the traffic noise when car runs at a speed ofrnabove 70 Km/h. Therefore reducing tire/road noise becomes an important lesson in therneyes of worldwide corresponding scholars. The sound generating mechanisms of the tirerntread patterns and pavement groove noise were investigated in the paper based on thernacoustic theory and coupling mechanism between tire and road. And systematically studiesrntread pattern noise control from following two aspects: the sound mechanism, the couplingrnnoise model. Bring up one new method for reducing traffic noise by tire/road coupling; Arncoupling prediction model and the coupling factor matrix were obtained. The researchrnconclusions will provide the theoretical supports for designing the road texture andrncorresponding tire tread patterns with low tire/road noise.
