In this paper, we consider a minimumrnmean-squared error (MMSE) based receiver structurernwhich combines multiuser detection (temporal fltering)rnand receiver beamforming (spatial fltering). Motivatedrnby the high complexity of the optimum receiver,rnwe propose rank constrained temporal-spatialrnflters which are simpler and near optimum. An iterativernalgorithm based on alternating minimization isrnused to fnd the flter coeu000ecients. The adaptive implementation,rnbuilt upon least mean squares (LMS),rnis formulated and its convergence properties are investigated.
