CO2 LASER CUTTING OF FLEXIBLE GLASS SUBSTRATES

We investigated CO_2 laser cutting of flexible glassrnsubstrates using water cooling jets. We found the laserrnbeam length and width only slightly affected the laserrncutting speed. We attribute the weak dependence to thernrapid thermal homogenizing process in flexible glass.rnThis paper discusses the optimal laser cutting processrnwindow.
