摘要

In order to implement in-process surface profile measurement for quality control of workpieces during precision machining, a new method is proposed in which an injection of stream is used to repel the coolant to generate an area suitable for optical measurement. An experimental testing system is developed to identify the optimum operational conditions for design enhancement and to facilitate the validation. Initial results show that the proposed method is very successful in achieving the objectives.
