摘要

Pulsed laser ablation in liquid is a simple and effective technique for obtaining nanomaterials. Zinc oxide is a wide band gap material (3.3 eV) with unique optical properties and electrical conductivity for applications as window material in solar cells and optoelectronic devices. Laser ablation in liquid medium (PLALM) has been used to synthesize zinc oxide nanoparticles in different aqueous solution such as hydroxide/dodecyl sulfate and deionized water mixed with oxidizing agent H_2O_2. However, as the experimental parameters are varied as well the final nanostructure, size distribution and the optical properties of zinc oxide change.
