Applications of computer-based 3D-visualization in quarry planning

A quarry is not a static, but a dynamic structue that greatly affects the appearance of the surrounding area. Excellent planning is required today to cope with this continual change. In this paper several cases studies are presented where computerized three-dimensional visualization has been successfully applied.
