ENERGY MANAGEMENT OF WAKE COUNTY: A GROWING DEMAND

As one of the largest and fastest growing Public School Systems in the Nation, Wake County Public School System (reference as WCPSS) is continuously challenged to maintain energy cost, respond immediately to mechanical problems, and maintain comfortable temperatures within the school system. The Energy Management department of WCPSS is one of the first contacts for problems and complaints from the schools when proper temperatures cannot be maintained at a school. Due to the number of schools, population, and physical size of the county (including 13 cities) the task of monitoring and maintaining temperatures, and diagnosing of problems for correction requires that an Energy Management System be installed and maintained for every facility.
