Results of a university class project indicated that most users of OUTCOMES required little extra instruction, though additional improvements in ease-of-use are possible. For example, the Visual Design tool can be enhanced by adding the ability to include buildings and more than one tree at a time. Other features that might be added include typical weather data sets for a range of cities, enhanced means for estimating reductions of solar radiation by trees (such as adjustments to density for tree size and addition of winter tree densities), ability to calculate other comfort indices for comparison to EB, and a tool for estimating sky view as well as other influences on people, e.g., exposure to UV radiation.
