This preliminary experimental work aims to gain additional insight into the char gasification process inrna bubbling fluidized-bed gasifier, as a potential route for obtaining hydrogen destined to bio-oil hydrodeoxygenation.rnDifferent operating conditions were tested in order to enhance hydrogen production, which in the best studied casernreached 0.26 mol H_2/mol C. More work is required to further improve char gasification conversion in a bubblingrnfluidized bed reactor.
