The powertrain of a hybrid fuel cell city bus consists of a 60-kW fuel cell engine, battery packs, a boostrnDC/DC converter connecting the fuel cell engine with the DC power bus and an induction motor. Usingrnthe advanced modeling tools EASY5ò, this paper gives the vehicle longitudinal model of the fuel cell cityrnbus firstly. Then, the vehicle system control strategy is obtained based on this vehicle longitudinal model.rnFinally, the simulation results are also compared with that of the prototype vehicle road test to validate thernEASY5ò model and the control strategies.
