HP-02: INVESTIGATION ON CRYOGENIC COILED TUBE HEAT EXCHANGERS INTERNAL LEAKS IN THE LNG PLANT OF SKIKDA.

摘要

Internal leaks in cryogenic coiled heat exchangers of the LNG plant of Skikda occurred few years after thernfirst start up. As it was impossible to replace harmed tubes because of the complex technology of coiledrnheat exchangers, repairing consisted of plugging them on both sides .However ,the number of plugged tubesrnkept increasing all the time ,Which induced decreased efficiency of the units .Investigations were made inrnorder to understand why were these tubes leaking and find out any solution to solve the problem .Thernpresent poster describes how the tests and inspection procedures were conducted and shows the resultsrnobtained.
