摘要

We report an acoustic-microfluidic method that enables rapid concentration and accurate detection of biomolecules in blood samples. We demonstrate that this method, that we call Nanoparticle-assisted Acoustic Molecular Concentration (NAMC), has been proven to realize a concentration factor exceeding two orders magnitude within 30 s. The used acoustic power is generally below 100 mW, and the sample consumption is ~10 μL, which enable the developed NAMC device portable for many diagnosis protocols and even instruments. We then integrate the NAMC with an ELISA principle and develop a no-wash cancer biomarker detection technique with a detection limit as low as 0.05 ng/mL.
