Spherical Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_3-PbTiO_3 fine powders were prepared by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis. The crystal phase of as-prepared powders was significantly influenced by the starting solution. The crystal phases of as-prepared powders were determined to be pyrochlore and perovskite from the XRD patterns. The perovskite phase (95 %) was obtained by calcination at 850 ℃. The pyrochlore phase drastically reduced the dielectric constant of the sintered body.
