Internet roaming: a solution for global internet access

摘要

In this paper, we identify and discuss the various issues and solutions in the design and implementation of Internet roaming, among the most improtant being user authentication, ISP server routing, and settlement between ISPs. Essential technical, financial and business issues are therefore discussed for Internet roaming. Finally, the impact of Internet roaming in the Asia Pacific region is examined.
