Educational platform for communications using the MQTT protocol

With the emergence of Internet of Things (IoT), appears the necessity of a protocol to handle the data flow of all the smart devices. HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) is the most used protocol. But, in recent years, new protocols are emerging. Nowadays, the Message Queue Telemetry Transport (MQTT) is one of the most used protocol within IoT, due to its low power and bandwidth consumption. This work presents the implementation of an MQTT protocol into LabVIEW platform providing a powerful tool to assess students training into novel protocols and applications under the IoT paradigm.
