摘要

Simultaneously transmission and reception in the same frequency can be achieved in In-band full-duplex (IBFD) technology for wireless local area networks (WLANs). The collision problem, Inter-Station Interference Problem (ISIP), may happen when IBFD transmission operates. As a result, the paper proposes an Interference Free Full Duplex with power control (IFFD) MAC protocol to avoid ISIP for WLANs. Simulation results show that IFFD outperforms against other protocols in network throughput and packet error rate.
