Ultra-Wideband Asymmetric Flag-Shaped Patch Antenna with Circular Polarization for Modern Wireless Communication

摘要

A new compact geometry of circularly-polarized ultra- wideband antenna with modified flag shaped patch, ground structure with defects is presented. The suggested design deals the ultra-wideband impedance-bandwidth of 139 % from frequency range 2.3—12.8 GHz and the CP radiation (3-dB axial-ratio) bandwidth of 210 MHz from 5.15—5.36 GHz with center frequency at 5.25 GHz. The realized results confirm that the prototype is applicable for UWB applications with axial-ratio band cover-up the WLAN, Wi-MAX bands
