A large number of studies have focused on the performance evaluation of wireless communication in vehicular applications. C. Gorgorin research [1] was conducted to evaluate the reliability of vehicles' ad-hoc networks using a trafficetwork simulation tool (SUMO) developed by the University Politehnica of Bucharest. The research results demonstrated the advantages of implementing the DSRC communication protocol known as IEEE 802.11p rather than the IEEE 802.11n communication protocol at the physical, MAC and application layers. The research limits the average number of vehicles being evaluated to 90 vehicles/minute. In our study, the number of vehicles was extended beyond 90 vehicles/minute to evaluate the performance of data communication in highly congested areas such as intersections, traffic accidents areas and downtown areas.
