Performance Analysis of Relay Selection Schemes for Dual-Hop Secure Multicasting Network

This paper is concerned with the study of a secure wireless multicasting communication through a Rayleigh fading dual-hop network consisting of a single user in the presence of multiple eavesdroppers. Since co-operative relaying network is becoming more popular to offer spatial diversity to single antenna systems and thus provide a reliable secure network, here two relay selection schemes have been studied. There are many common relay selection schemes. Among them optimal relay selection scheme had been proven more efficient than other previous schemes. In this scheme, channel secrecy is considered approximately in each relay and the relay with best one is selected to forward the signal from source to destination. In this paper, a new relay selection scheme is proposed, namely min-max scheme. In this scheme, we seek the relay with maximum channel gain to user and minimum channel gain to eavesdropper. Secrecy capacity for this two schemes is analyzed and verified by numerical simulations. Finally a comparison is made between them to analyze which one is better.
