Comparison of data collecting methods in wireless mesh sensor networks

摘要

The wireless sensor networks is more and more usable in industrial fields. For example in food processing the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) framework specify procedures for periodical recording of temperature of storage spaces for food quality and safety. This paper introduces one test sensor network usable for simultaneous data collection. The paper compares centralized data collecting methods like polling, synchronized broadcast response and merged data collection. The introduced data collecting methods are specified for wireless sensor networks based on mesh network with Time-Division Multiple Access (TDMA) medium access using flooding routing.
