摘要

A comprehensive design approach is conducted for a synchronous reluctance motor which is proposed as electrical motive system for using in home appliances. An investigation on the various rotor's structures have been conducted where a suitable structure is the candidate for these applications. An analytical approach is extracted for the initial design process where it has been modified via a sensitivity analysis in a Finite Element process. The results of analysis lead to select the proper values for the design parameters by considering the constraints of the considered applications.
