摘要

A bidirectional transmission with wavelength reuse technique enabled coreless CAP-PON system over multicore fiber is experimentally demonstrated. In the proposed scheme, the ONU side carrier suppression and OLT side coherent detection for a single wavelength implement is adopted for upstream transmission. The optical carrier is delivered from OLT to ONUs in different cores for upstream transmission to avoid Rayleigh backscattering. In our experiment, 10Gb/s symmetrical rate of bidirectional CAP signals is successfully transmitted over 20km MCF.
