The aim of this paper is to simulate the detection of buried objects under surfaces and the influence of its orientation on the GPR response. The most important problems facing the users of GPR are the difficulties of analyzing the obtained radargrams, which we tried to solve by creating some models to help them distinguish between the types of orientations of the buried objects, its number and nature from the radargrams. The simulations we have established include the following items: a metal and plastic bars have led us to find that the electromagnetic waves are very sensitive to the variations of the orientation of the targets (the change of the angle between antenna and the targets) they are also very sensitive to the Change of dielectric permittivity and electrical conductivity. The accuracy of the results of this simulation was determined after a comparison with a simulation resulted by GprMax2d under the same conditions.
