“Energy conserved is life preserved”. The impetus of conservation is the greatest good to the greatest number of people for the longest time. This paper postulates the paradigm and performance dissection of automatic indoor solar energy harvesting system employing LDR sensors which results in the automatic rotation of the light weight mechanical dynamic system which extirpates the need of any additional circuitry thereby ushering to very low power consumption. In the proposed system, the energy harvesting system is self governed by the LDR sensor which exhibits maximum intensity of light thereby driving the motor driven flexible solar panel by harnessing a portion of harvested solar energy which is stored in rechargeable lead acid battery. The system steers perpetually in two mannerisms: during day time and night time. The proffered system is proficient enough to rotate according to the intensity of light sensed by the sensors. The proposed system is capable of generating average output voltage of 9.034 volts and 170.50 mA current during daytime and average output voltage of 0.702 volts and 31.4 μA current during night time.
