In late 12th Five-Year, the problem of wind power curtailment is serious in Liaoning power grid. To encourage the providing of new energy to the grid, researchers press harder to resolve the problems of wind power integration difficulties and curtailment. Because peak-shaving cost of thermal power enterprises cannot be compensated reasonably under existing policy, thermal power enterprises cannot fully cooperate with the peak-shaving. After deeply considering the operation benefit, this paper builds a wind-thermal power price compensation model. By reasonably compensating the cost to motivate thermal power enterprises in peaking-shaving, wind power resources can be used to the full and operation benefit of power enterprises can be improved.
