摘要

In the process of aircraft residual ice detection based on near infrared spectrum method, the qualities of the images, such as brightness and contrast, are easily influenced by sunlight, weather and other factors. Therefore, it is hard to precisely match the feature points. In this paper, an improved Harris local invariant feature matching method is proposed. The improved Harris feature point detection algorithm is used to extract the feature points of interest. Then, Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) algorithm is introduced to obtain the feature description. Thus, SIFT descriptor, which is position stable, scale invariance, rotation invariance and less dependent on the brightness, can be achieved. So, local features are not affected by scale, angle of view, rotation, and illumination. Experiment results show that the method can realize accurate matching of the aircraft images, and has great practical value for the detection of aircraft residual ice.
