摘要

In this paper, multi-objective optimization of two degree of freedom (2DOF) controller using Non-dominated Sorting of Genetic Algorithm-II (NSGA-II) for the problem of shell and tube heat exchanger system is considered. The objective functions are deployed considering, set point tracking and disturbance rejections for the shell and tube heat exchanger system. The pareto set of solution for conflicting objective functions set point tracking and disturbance rejections are obtained after optimizing simultaneously all the five parameters of 2DOF controller. The result obtained using genetic algorithm of multi-objective optimization is compared with single objective optimization method. MATLAB software tool is used to verify above strategy.
