Mobile ad-hoc network is form of wireless networks recognized with the purpose of provisional communication with no additional infrastructure. Open nature communication make is prone for several security threats such as resource draining attacks or routing exhaustion. Security is the major concern to maintain the trust on communication or network concert. Cloud computing is broad and diverse technology. Clients are allowed to share their resource and infrastructure as service with no major hurdles. It helps to store large amount of data and make remote transactions with public or private network infrastructure. Cloud computing using MANET is different joint venture of new era help to establish resource sharing with ad-hoc nature. Authors investigate that illegal access and damage of resources pathetic and can damage equivalent as illegal access to data. Study also observes that resource draining is completely independent process and doesn't lie on vulnerabilities of routing protocols. Denial of Service attack and Distributed Denial of Service attack is kind of resource draining purposely deployed to degrade the performance by exhausting the resource. This paper aims to make survey of all issues relates this security concern on MANET and Cloud computing.
